The following document gives a brief introductions to how the E-100 Communications gateway and the ISOLICE I/O modules may be used to isolate signals from virtually any industrial sensor and make these live values available to RS232, RS485 or Ethernet communications networks. Industrial Interface have designed a wide range of Isoslice units which can accept multiple inputs from a wide range of process instruments including 4-20mA & 0-10V inputs, thermocouples, PT100 sensors and even AC Current transformer signals.
Additionally 4 channel output units are available for analogue and digital outputs. The E-100 communications gateway has a very useful local display which allows the values of all inputs and outputs to be viewed.
