The E-100 communication gateway and the Isoslice I/O modules can be used to interface virtually any process variable and present them in Modbus format to any Ethernet, RS232 or RS485 communications network. I/O modules are available for mA, voltage, RTD, thermocouple, AC current and voltage, CTs and digital inputs and almost any other input you can think of ! There are also mA, voltage and relay output modules too. All of our Isoslice units feature input to bus and power supply isolation and some feature channel to channel isolation, eliminating the need for separate signal isolators. The E-100 Analogue to Communications module provides an easy way of interfacing analogue and digital process parameters to an Ethernet or RS232or RS485 network. The E-100 has one universal analogue input built-in but can be expanded through the use of the Isoslice range of I/O modules.
the built-in display allows easy local monitoring of any of the input parameters.
The default communications Port is an RS485 port other options are shown below.
