The DCON-TCTC isolator accepts a mV signal from virtually any type of thermocouple and provides an identical isolated mV signal. A second output can also be configured as a mV thermocouple output or a mA or Voltage output proportional to temperature. Typically used where non-isolated thermocouples are monitored by a multi-input channel device with no channel to channel isolation, the DCON-TCTC can eliminate earth loop effects and prevent the failure of one sensor affecting the other inputs.

Cold junction compensation and thermocouple linearisation are user-selectable options.

The unit is housed in a 12.5mm wide DIN rail enclosure and either 12-36Vdc or 90-230Vac power supply options are available.
